How detection works
After each routing table update, every RPKI-invalid prefix is compared against the stored VRP (Validated ROA Payload) dataset. If a prefix is announced by an ASN that does not appear in any covering ROA, and at least one covering ROA exists for a different ASN, a hijack event is recorded. Events are automatically resolved when the prefix is no longer flagged as RPKI-invalid.
